MY PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
My name is Nombuso Adelaide is in possession of a Bachelor of Theology Degree Obtained from the University of Western Cape, a Diploma on Political Economy, Philosophy and International Trade union History from Russia. I had studied Labour Law from Petrus Lumumba University also situated in Russia. Trained on Telecommunication Training of Trainers Course in Netherlands and have been to other African Countries such as Angola and Tunisia whilst executing my functions on disability.
MY DISABILITY / CHALLANGES
I am a double amputee due to a car accident in 2003, using a wheelchair sometimes walking with the aid of crutches.
I am currently employed by the Office of the Premier, under Human Rights Chief Directorate, heading the Office on the Status of the Persons with Disabilities in the Kwa-Zulu Natal Province. I am the Chairperson of the Provincial Disability Forum and a member of the Provincial Disability Task Team.
FAMALY /MARITAL STATUS
I was married in 1988 and was blessed with five children a son, daughter and three step daughters. My husband passed away in 2003 due to sugar diabetes.
